Make a call
- Key in the phone number, or select the contact from your phone book.
- Press
 to call the number.
- Press
 to end the call or to cancel the call attempt.
Speed dialing a phone number
A quick way to call is to use speed dialing keys from  to  .Call the number in either of the following ways:
- Press the speed-dialing key that you want and then press .
- If Speed dialling is set to on, press and hold a speed-dialing key until the call is started.
To set speed dialing keys, press Menu and select Settings, Call settings and Speed dialling.
Answering or rejecting an incoming call
- Press to answer an incoming call and press to end the call.
- Press to reject an incoming call.
- Press Silence to mute the ringing tone. You can either answer or reject the call.
- If a compatible headset is connected to the phone, you can answer and end a call by pressing the headset key.
Options during a call
Options during a call give you more tools for call handling. Press Options while calling. Many of the options that you can select during a call are network services.
Automatic volume control
If you are frequently calling from a noisy place you can make the earpiece volume level increased with the automatic volume control.
To activate the automatic volume control press Menu and select Settings, Call settings, Automatic volume control and On. You can activate it also while during a call by pressing Options.
Loudspeaker
Are you busy doing something else while speaking on the phone or do you want to share the phone conversation with someone else present? Do it with the integrated loudspeaker. To activate the loudspeaker during a call, press Options and select Loudspeaker.
Call register
Somebody called you an hour ago but you missed the call. You can check the phone numbers of missed, received and dialed calls on the call register. To enter the call register press Menu and select Call register.
Voice dialing
You can make a phone call by saying a voice tag that has been added to a phone number. You can add up to ten voice tags.
- To add a voice tag to a contact, press
 , scroll to the desired contact and press Details and Options, and then select Add voice tag.
- To make a call by using a voice tag, press and hold the volume-down key and say the voice tag clearly.

Save the phone numbers of your contacts with the country code (with the international prefix +) and the area code (omit the leading 0).
