Editing the general settings

Choose the settings that suit you best as and when necessary. You can edit the general settings by selecting Settings > General and then choosing from the options available.


    Select Settings > General

    Select Access Point to choose which access point to use when connecting to the Nokia Sports Tracker 2.0 web service

    Select Memory in use to choose where to save workouts and routes

    Select Check for updates to set the device to check automatically for updates to the Nokia Sports Tracker 2.0 application

    Select Measurement unit to choose the measurement unit used

    Select Maps material.
    Note! After Nokia Sport Tracker beta service is closed 30.6.2010, there won’t be maps material available any longer.
    Select Phone, if available, to use maps stored in the device memory.

    Select Phone and network to fetch maps both from the device memory and the internet.

    Select Empty background to use an empty background

    Select Autolap signal to set the device to play a tone when a lap is completed and to select the tone

    Select Use automatic keylock to set the device to lock the keypad automatically

    Select GPS filtering to select level for filtering. For example High filters the data heavily so is suitable for walking. Select Off to use the GPS without filtering

    Select Altitude offset to enter altitude offset from sea level
