Connect with infrared

Infrared connection requires a line of sight for data transfer. It‘s not particularly fast, but it‘s an easy way to transfer data if both your devices have an infrared port. Check first if your device and PC supports infrared connection.

1. Open the main window of Nokia PC Suite and select Click here to connect a phone.
2. The Get connected wizard opens, and select Next to continue.
3. Select Infrared connection and Next to continue.
4. Activate infrared on your device, and place the device so its infrared port faces your PC‘s infrared receiver.
5. Once the PC detects your device, the necessary drivers are installed automatically.
6. Click Finish to close the wizard
