Set up synchronisation

Choose the information you want to share between your Nokia phone and your computer.

The first time you synchronise a phone using Ovi Suite you’ll need to enter some basic settings. These settings only need to be entered once for each phone, and you can change them later if you need to. To do that, select Tools > Options > Device sync.

  1. Connect the phone you want to synchronise to your computer using a USB cable. You can use a Bluetooth connection instead but it will be a bit slower.
  2. Your phone may ask you how you want to connect. Select PC Suite and then select OK.
  3. Select Sync all in the Home view. Then select which content types you want to sync between your phone and Nokia Ovi Suite. Possible content types are contacts, messages, photos, videos and music.
