Using Nokia Ovi Suite for the first time

Get started with Nokia Ovi Suite by connecting a phone and signing into your Nokia account.

When you’ve installed Nokia Ovi Suite, either using a web download or a DVD or memory card that came with your phone, you’re ready to start using Nokia Ovi Suite.

  1. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable or Bluetooth. (Find out how to connect your phone to your computer.)
  2. Enter a name for your phone.
  3. If you want to use Ovi online services or update your phone software, sign in to your Nokia account or register for a new account.

You can start Nokia Ovi Suite at any time from the icon on your Windows desktop. By default Nokia Ovi Suite starts up when Windows starts up. You can close the main window to leave Nokia Ovi Suite running in the background. Double-click the notification area icon to reopen it.
