To check your version of Windows Media Player

1. To start Windows Media Player application, click the desktop icon or go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Windows Media Player
2. In Windows Media Player go to Help menu and select About Windows Media Player
3. An "About Windows Media Player" window will open, from which you can see the version number, eg. Version: 9.00.00.3250
4. If the version is not 10 or above you need to get Windows Media Player 10 from Microsoft.
