Keep your Nokia Internet Tablet software up-to-date

Make sure your device is up-to-date. Check the software version that is currently available. To check the version number of the current software on your device, tap on the Application menu, and select Settings > Control panel > About product.

Latest software updates are available as an in-device Seamless software update

Your Nokia Internet tablet checks automatically whether new software updates are available for the device. You will be notified if new software updates are available. To view and install the available software updates you can use the Application manager of device. There is an option to select the packages to install, or you can select them at once. You can find more information of Seamless software update from 'How to' or 'Guides' leaflets.

You can also update the software on your Nokia Internet Tablet using your Windows PC. The update wizard will automatically update your Nokia device with the latest software version available. Note that there can still be more updates available via Seamless software update.

Instructions for Software update using Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard

1. Download the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard and save it to your computer.
2. Install the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard by running Nokia_Internet_Tablet_Software_Update_Wizard.exe. This will install the update wizard and the Nokia USB cable driver if needed.
3. To access the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard on your computer, open the Start menu and select Programs > Nokia > Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard > Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard.
4. Follow the instructions on screen to complete the software update.
