Personalize the cover display

To change the look of the cover display, press the menu key and select Tools > Themes > Cover personalis. You can even set your own tone for opening and closing the cover.

Automatic redial

With automatic redial your device makes a maximum of 10 attempts to connect the call after an unsuccessful call attempt. To stop automatic redialing, press the End key. To activate it, go to Tools > Settings > Phone > Call and adjust the automatic redial setting.

Install applications from a PC

You can use Nokia Application Installer in Nokia Nseries PC Suite to install an application to your device.

Edit contact cards on a PC

To add and edit contact cards, you can also use Nokia Contacts Editor available in Nokia Nseries PC Suite.

What time is it in Tokyo?

To open the world clock view, select Clock, and scroll right to the third tab. In the world clock view, you can view the time in different cities. To add cities to the list, select Options > Add city. You can add a maximum of 15 cities to the list.

Automated time setting

To allow the mobile phone network to update the time, date, and time zone information to your device (network service), go to Menu > Clock and select Network operator time > Auto-update from the settings.

Activate voice commands

You can use voice commands to control your device. To activate enhanced voice commands for starting applications and profiles, press menu, and select Tools > Voice comm. > Profiles.
