Nokia Multimedia Transfer for Mac

Transfer from iTunes

You can use Nokia Multimedia Transfer to transfer music, videos, podcasts, playlists and other content from iTunes to your Nokia device.

Enable iTunes transfer from the Audio settings menu in Nokia Multimedia Transfer.

You can’t transfer copy-protected content to your device. Examples of copy-protected content include:

  • most music bought from the iTunes store before 2009
  • Audiobooks from Audible.com

Choose what you want to transfer

When you add a new device, Nokia Multimedia Transfer goes through a short set up process for that device. If you want to transfer iTunes content, make sure the Enable iTunes folder transfer box is ticked. You can also choose which playlists will be transferred to your device.

During set up

If you change your playlists or albums on your Mac, Nokia Multimedia Transfer makes the changes on your Nokia device next time you connect.

If you want transfers to start automatically when you connect your device, select Device settings > General and select Start transfers automatically when device is connected.

To change your settings, select Device settings > Audio from the Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon in the menu bar.

Changing Music transfer settings

Start a transfer

Start the transfer by selecting Start iTunes transfer.

See the progress of the transfer by clicking on Nokia Multimedia Transfer in the menu bar. When the transfer is complete a notification message is briefly displayed.

After transferring music to your device, you will need to refresh your Nokia device’s music library before you can see the changes.

Can’t see album artwork on your device?

Album artwork is transferred to your device if it’s embedded in the music file. Album artwork added using the iTunes Get Album artwork feature is not transferred to the device.
