Some devices, such as the Nokia N96, have 2 memory locations: the internal device memory and an option for an external memory card.
To set the primary memory location, which will be used first, choose Device settings > General from the Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon in the menu bar.
Nokia Multimedia Transfer can support several devices at the same time. To add a device, simply connect it using Bluetooth or a USB cable and follow the set up instructions.
Bluetooth: connecting your device to your Mac
USB: connecting your device to your Mac
To remove a device, select Device settings > General > Remove device from the Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon in the menu bar.
Nokia Multimedia Transfer uses a cache folder for quick access to certain files, such as transcoded videos. You can delete these files and save disk space by emptying the cache folder.
In the Finder on your Mac, go to Library/Caches/com.nokia.NokiaMultiMediaTransfers, and delete everything in the folder.
Quit Nokia Multimedia Transfer by selecting Quit Nokia Multimedia Transfer from the Nokia Multimedia Transfer icon in the menu bar.
However, you can leave Nokia Multimedia Transfer running in the background if you want to use it fairly regularly, or want it to start automatically transferring when you connect your device.
If you no longer want to use Nokia Multimedia Transfer, simply quit the application, and drag the application from application folder to the wastebasket. When you remove Nokia Multimedia Transfer you can also clear the cache.
