Using Nokia Maps 3.06 or later?

If you’re using Nokia Maps 3.06 or later and you have a PC, you don’t need Nokia Map Loader – you can use Nokia Suite to download new maps and voice guidance.

For Mac

Nokia Map Loader for Mac works with Nokia Maps versions up to 3.04, but not with Maps 3.06 or later.We are working on a Mac version of Nokia Suite which will replace Nokia Map Loader for Mac and will support Nokia Maps 3.06.

You can also download new street maps and voice guidance for Nokia Maps 3.06 via the Update function:

  1. Open the Maps application
  2. Select Update.

If you are using Nokia Maps version up to 3.04 and Nokia Map Loader:

You must use the Maps application and browse maps at least once before using Nokia Map Loader.

To download and install new maps and voice guidance using Nokia Map Loader:

  1. Make sure your computer is connected to the internet.
  2. Connect your Nokia phone to your computer using a USB cable or Bluetooth. If your phone asks you to select a connection mode, select PC Suite.
  3. Start Nokia Map Loader.
  4. Select the + symbol next to the maps and voice guidance files you want to download. Select the - symbol to remove things from your download list.
  5. Select Download to install the items you’ve selected.

A USB connection is usually faster than a Bluetooth connection for transferring large files such as maps.
