1. Hotmail attachment limitations and associated error messages are in English only
Unfortunately this cannot be changed. Some Hotmail e-mails cannot be delivered to the intended recipient due to attachment limitations; the Nokia Messaging server sends an e-mail message to the user to inform them of the failed delivery. The e-mail message is always in English.
2. After attempting to add a Hotmail account, you are no longer able to send e-mails from an AOL account
This occurs on older versions of Nokia Messaging for e-mail. There is no way to add a second mailbox directly from the phone using some older versions of Nokia Messaging for e-mail.
Recommendation: Using the email.nokia.com website upgrade to the most recent version of Nokia Messaging for e-mail.
3. Hotmail e-mails with HTML text and graphics are not entirely visible on the device
This is an issue with how Hotmail handles inline images. We are currently investigating this problem.
4. No Welcome message after Hotmail signup
If you don't see the Welcome message after signup, it may have been redirected to the Junk Folder.
5. In Hotmail even though attachments are removed on the device, they are still sent
If you forward a message and delete the attachment using Hotmail, it will still be sent. This is a Hotmail limitation.
6. In Hotmail, received e-mails are directly deleted from server after 50 e-mails
Hotmail allows only 50 e-mails to appear in the inbox. As the 51st e-mail comes in, the server deletes the oldest e-mail. You may see e-mails disappear if you receive more than 50 e-mails in a short period of time.
