Search contacts in a remote database


You can look for contact information in a remote database, such as your Microsoft Outlook contacts. The search function is available if you have first defined the remote database. You can, for example, set your Mail for exchange account first.



Search contacts in a remote database

  1. To activate the remote contact search, Select Options > Settings > Contacts > Remote search server, and choose the server you want to use.

    2. You can later change the remote contact database by changing the server.

  2. To search for contacts in a remote database, select Options > Search from remote, type in the keyword, and select Search. The device will establish a data connection to the remote database.
