Correct position with GPS

When you are using the GPS receiver, from an upright position hold the device at a 45-degree angle with an unobstructed view of the sky. Establishing a GPS connection may take from a couple of seconds to several minutes. Establishing a GPS connection in a vehicle may take longer.

Capture location to the image

With your new device, you can add information about the geographic location where the image was captured to the file details of the photograph. You can use this information in other applications. For example, in Nokia Maps you can see what photographs of different locations are available on a map.

To activate location capturing in the camera, select Options > Settings > Record location > Yes.

Try the navigation service for free!

You can try out the turn-by-turn navigation service for three days with the free license.

To try out the navigation for three days using the free license, select Maps > Options > Start navigation. Accept the terms and conditions. Maps verifies the availability of a free license for your device. To activate the license, select OK. You can only use the license once.
