Activating camera

To activate the main camera, press and hold the capture key. To activate the main camera when it is already open in the background, press and hold the capture key. To close the main camera, select Exit.

Two cameras to use

Your device has two cameras. The main camera is on the back of the device by default using the landscape mode, and the lower resolution secondary camera is in the front using the portrait mode. The secondary camera is also used if you make a video call.

Take a panoramic pictures

You can capture panoramic images with your camera. To activate the panorama mode with the main camera, scroll to left or right to activate the toolbar and select the panoramic icon. To start capturing a panoramic image, press the camera key and turn the camera slowly left or right. The camera displays the panoramic image as you turn. Remember that you cannot change the direction while turning. To stop the capturing the image, press the camera key.

Self-timer

Use the self-timer to delay the capture so that you can include yourself in the picture. To set the self-timer delay, in the active toolbar, select Self timer > 2 seconds, 10 seconds, or 20 seconds. Tip: select Self timer > 2 seconds to keep your hand steady when taking a picture.
