Start Music Player easily

To start the Music Player, press the instant swap key, until the scroll key light is green and then select Music player.

Visual radio

You can use the Visual Radio application as an FM radio with automatic tuning and preset stations, or you can use it to get visual information about the radio program you're listening to (if the station offers Visual Radio service). You can also listen to the radio while using other applications.

Calling with the radio on

You can make a call or answer an incoming call while listening to the radio. The radio is automatically turned off when there is an active call.

Make more room for music

If your phone has no free space for new music files, then simply transfer some of the old files to your memory card with Nokia Music Manager, available from Nokia PC Suite.

Move music from your PC

Use the memory card reader to transfer music tracks from a compatible PC to your phone. Connect the memory card reader to the PC via the USB connector and then insert the memory card of your phone into the reader. The memory card reader accepts various types of memory cards.

Play music in web

You can open Music player from other applications such as Services, where you can scroll to a music file and then select it in order to play it.

Station directory

From the station directory (network service) you can either select Visual Radio enabled or traditional radio stations from a list, grouped in several folders. A folder may represent geographical locations, such as continents, countries, regions, or cities, and can contain other folders or data of radio stations. To check availability and costs, and to subscribe to the service, contact your network operator or service provider.

Update music library

To update the music library and search for music tracks in the phone memory and on the memory card, select Options > Update Music library.

End visual content feed

To end the visual content feed but not the FM radio, select Close. To end both, select Options > Exit.

Turn off the radio

To quickly turn off the radio, press and hold the Clear key.

View visual content

You can view visual content if the station is saved in the station list and visual service is enabled for this station. If the visual service ID was not saved in the station list, you will be asked for the visual service ID. Enter the visual service ID and select OK. If you do not have the visual service ID, select Retrieve to access the station directory (network service).
