Use a MicroSD memory card with your device

Your phone supports MicroSD cards with a capacity up to 2 GB. With the MicroSD card you can easily extend your phone’s memory. You can, for example, save more pictures, videos and music. With the memory card it is also easy to transfer content from your phone to a computer.

Insert a memory card:

1. Open the cover of the memory card slot.
2. Insert the card into the memory card slot with the contact surface facing up, and press until it locks into place.
3. Close the cover of the memory card slot.

Remove the memory card

You can remove or replace the memory card without switching the device off, but do not remove the memory card in the middle of an operation when card is being accessed; that may damage the memory card as well as the device, and data stored on the card may be corrupted.

1. Ensure that no application is currently accessing the memory card.
2. Open the cover of the memory card slot.
3. Press the memory card slightly in to release the lock, and remove it.
4. Close the cover of the memory card slot.
