Record a video and adjust the settings

You can easily make your own video recordings with the camera in your phone:

  1. Select Menu > Media > Video.
  2. Start recording by pressing Record. You can pause the recording at any time by pressing Pause. To resume, press Continue.
  3. To stop recording, select Stop.

Your device supports a video resolution of 176x144 pixels, and saves the video clips on the memory card, if available, or in the phone memory.

Manage video settings

Depending on where you want to use and view the videos you have captured, you can adjust the video quality settings to match your needs. If you plan on editing your video clips later on, it is always good to shoot the video in the highest quality possible. If you want to send videos by MMS, lower quality settings are sufficient.

  1. In the video view, select Options > Settings.
  2. Choose from:
    • Video clip length – Depending on the intended use of your video, set the length to For MMS message or Maximum available.
    • Video clip quality – Set the quality to High, Normal or Basic.
    • Video resolution – You can adjust the resolution between 176x144 and 128x96 pixels.
    • Default title – You can have an automatic title or set your own title for the videos.
    • Image/video storage – You can store your videos either in the Phone memory or on a Memory card, or set a specific folder.
