Manage your media files

You can manage all your media files in Gallery. Learn how to keep them organised by creating your own folders, and how to search for specific files. It is also necessary at some point to check how much memory you have left for storing your files.

To create a folder and organise files:

1. In the Gallery view, select Options > Add folder, and give your new folder a name.
• This creates a new folder in the main gallery view. It is also possible to create sub-folders in existing folders. In this case, open the desired folder and select Options > Add folder.
2. In the Gallery view, select the desired picture, video or other type of file. Press Options > Move > and select the target folder. Press Move to confirm your action.

Sort and search your files:

• Sort – In order to find your files more easily, you can sort them by name, date, format or size. In the Gallery view, select Options > Sort.
• Search – To find a specific file quickly, go to the folder, select Options > Search, and enter the title you are looking for.

Check your memory status:

1. In the Gallery view, select Options > Memory status.
2. By selecting Phone or your memory card, if you have installed one, you can see how much memory your files are occupying and how much free memory you have left.
