Adjust camera effects, white balance, and manage details

Effects give you a possibility to adjust the colours in the pictures you are taking. It is set on Normal by default, but you can change it by selecting the desired effect in Options > Effects:

  • Normal
  • False colours
  • Greyscale
  • Sepia
  • Negative
  • Solarise
White balance

White balance helps you to achieve natural colours in different lighting conditions by calculating the white and black scales. To adjust white balance, select Options > White balance, and the setup according to the lighting:

  • Auto – White balance is calculated automatically.
  • Daylight – The main lighting source is the sun.
  • Tungsten – The main lighting source is a light bulb.
  • Fluorescent – The main lighting source is a fluorescent light.
Manage the pictures and add details

After taking a picture, you can manage the pictures you have taken. Use either the Gallery or adjust the settings right after you have taken a picture. Select the image, then Options and choose from the following:

  • Send – Send the image by e-mail, MMS or Bluetooth, or upload the image to the Web.
  • Use image – Set the image as wallpaper, screen saver, contact image, or add it to a new contact or group image.
  • View full screen – View the image with full screen.
  • Delete – Delete the image.
  • Move – Move the image to different folder.
  • Copy – Make a copy of the image.
  • Rename – Change the image name.
  • Zoom – Zoom into the image, and enlarge the details.
  • Set contrast – Adjust the contrast settings.
  • Edit image – Crop the image, insert a frame, text or clip art.
  • Rotate image – Rotate the image 90° to the left or right, or through 180°.
  • Print – Print the image if your device is connected to a compatible printer.
