You can call your contacts and carry out phone functions by speaking a voice command. Before using voice commands, set up your language by choosing Menu > Settings > Phone > Language settings > Recognition lang.
To make a call, press and hold the volume down key in the standby mode. When a short tone is played, and Speak now is displayed on the screen, say the voice command clearly. If the voice recognition was successful, a list with matches is shown. The phone plays the voice command of the match on the top of the list. If the result is not the correct one, scroll to another entry.
With personal shortcuts you get quick access to frequently-used phone functions. Select Menu > Settings > My shortcuts to allocate one phone function to the Left selection key, Right selection key and Navigation key.
