Recording a video with your Nokia N97 device is just four steps away:

1. To start recording a video, press the capture key or select . A red record icon is displayed.
2. To pause recording at any time, select Pause.
3. To resume, select Continue.
4. To stop recording, press the capture key. The video clip is automatically saved in Photos.

If you pause recording and do not press any key within one minute, the recording stops.

To zoom in or out of the subject, use the zoom keys.

If the camera is in image mode, to switch to video mode, select > on the screen.

Video settings

To adjust the settings, tap the Settings icon on the screen. Select from the list the setting you want to adjust by tapping it. When in video mode, you can adjust:

• Scene mode: select from automatic, low light mode or night
• White balance: base your selection on lighting; sunny, cloudy, fluorescent or incandescent
• Color tone: you can select, for instance, normal, sepia or black & white

From the same list you can select Photos, which takes you to the list of captured photos and recorded videos.
