Manage bookmarks


Use bookmarks to access your favourite internet sites quickly. Learn how to save your favourite pages as bookmarks and how to manage and organize them.


Save your favourite pages as bookmarks

The bookmarks view opens when you open the Web application. You can select Web addresses from a list or from bookmark folders if you have created your own folders. Your N97 also saves visited Web pages automatically in the Recently visited pages folder.


Add a page to bookmarks

  1. When on the page, select Options > Web page options > Save as bookmark.
  2. Give the bookmark a name and select OK. The bookmark is saved in your bookmark view.

Sort bookmarks

You can sort the bookmarks into folders, edit and delete bookmarks with the Bookmark manager.

To sort bookmarks into folders

  1. To create a new folder, select Options > Bookmark Manager and New folder.
  2. Give a name to the folder, then select OK.
  3. To mark the bookmarks you want to move to the folder, scroll to the bookmark and select Options > Mark/Unmark and Mark.
  4. Select Options > Bookmark manager and Move to folder.
  5. Choose the folder you want to move the bookmark into, then select Move.
