To send an SMS, follow these simple steps:

1. Press the Menu key on your phone.
2. Select Messaging > New Message.
3. The messaging panel opens up with the recipient address field and space to type the message.
4. To use your keyboard to send the message, push open the phone.
5. Select to add recipients or groups from the contacts list.
6. Tap on the recipient name or select to add a group.
7. Alternatively, if you have the recipient added in your contacts list, enter the first few letters of the recipient name and press the navigation key. The device automatically fills in the full name. You can also add the recipient contact number directly in the To field.
