After taking a picture or recording a video, you can manage it many ways. You can also tag location information on the picture. Learn how to do that here.
After you have captured a picture or recorded a video, you can edit or manage it in various ways.
To do this, go to the desired picture or video and select the function from the active toolbar on the right. Please note that the active toolbar is available only when you have selected an image or a video clip in a view. The available options vary depending on the view you are in and whether you have selected an image or a video clip.
In the active toolbar:
: View the image in landscape or portrait.
: Play the video clip.
: Send the image or video clip.
: Upload the image or video clip to a compatible online album (only available if you have set up an account for a compatible online album).
: Add the item to an album.
: Manage tags and other properties of the item.
To hide the toolbar, select Options > Hide icons. To activate the active toolbar when it is hidden, press the scroll key.
If you want to set the picture as wallpaper, go to Options > Set as wallpaper. If you want to set it as wallpaper later on, go to Menu > Photos > Captured. Go to the desired photo and select Options > Use image > Set as wallpaper.
If you want to print the picture, go to Menu > Photos. Select the item you want to print (e.g. from Captured) and select Options > Print > To printer or kiosk. Note that your device must be connected to a compatible printer using a data cable or via Bluetooth. The WLAN printer setup wizard automatically helps you to define the home network access point in order to use a WLAN printer.
To edit an image or a video clip, select Options > Edit. You can select various alternatives from the table, such as rotate, red eye reduction, crop or frame.
In addition to the above-mentioned, there are still some other ways to manage your photos in Menu > Photos > Captured > Options.
You can automatically add capture location information to the file details of the captured material. For example, in the Photos application you can then view the location where an image was captured.
To add location information to all captured material:
When the camera is activated, the location information indicators are at the bottom of the display.
To see, where an image marked with
was captured, select Options > Show on map, when the desired image is selected.
