You have several profiles in your device. The profiles are setting groups, which you can customise for different situations.

There are are six predefined profiles in the device. These are General, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor, Pager and Offline. You can use them as such, or adjust the predefined settings.

To adjust the settings of these profiles, select Menu > Tools > Profiles.

From the profile list, select the profile you want to adjust and select from the three options:

• Activate: activates the selected profile.
• Personalise: changes the profile settings.
• Timed: you can set a profile to be activate during a certain time period.

By selecting the Personalise option, you can change the ringing tone, type, and volume. You can also define keypad tones, vibrating alert, and warning tones to be on or off. If you wish, you can also set the device to say the caller’s name in incoming calls.

If you want, you can create a totally new profile. When in the profile list, select Options > Create new.

You can personalise your device to suit your mood by changing and setting themes, adding your own wallpaper and selecting an animation for the screensaver.

To make the settings, select:

1. Menu > Tools > Settings.
2. Select General > Personalisation > Themes.
3. From this menu you can personalise:
• The theme used in applications (General)
• How the main menu is shown (Menu view)
• The background image for the home screen (Wallpaper)
• What image is shown for an incoming call (Call image)
• The sound played with different notifications and alerts (Audio themes)
