Your Nokia device (e.g E75, 6730 classic, 6710 navigator, or N86 8MP) includes a multiprotocol email client, which supports the Mail for Exchange account using Microsoft ActiveSync protocol. Note! Mail for Exchange (MFE) client installation is not needed. The configuration is done by running Set up e-mail wizard. The following steps guide you through setting up Mail for Exchange email account in your Nokia phone:
NOTE! Read all screens carefully during the setup process as they will provide additional information how to proceed.
NOTE! If you forget the lock code, the device will need to be sent for repair. For additional information regarding Nokia device repair, visit the Nokia support web site at http://www.nokia.com/support.
NOTE! If you have previously hidden the Set up e-mail option on the home screen there are following other ways to get started with email setup.
If you use either of these two options, select Start to begin entering the information for your email account as mentioned in step 3 above and proceed with the instructions from that on.
The panorama mode in Camera application allows capturing wide angle images consisting of up to 5 image frames. The panorama images can be taken in the following way:
For the optimum quality, try to keep the rotation axis as close to the lens as possible. Rotate the device instead of moving yourself.
To reset some of the settings to their original values, select (depending on your device):
To do this, you need the lock code. The default lock code is 12345. After resetting, the device may take a longer time to power on. Documents and files are unaffected.
Note: If your Nokia device support encryption of the device memory or the memory card, make sure you decrypt them before you restore the factory setting or your data may be lost.

No. The amount of consecutive incorrect lock codes is not limited and you cannot lock your Nokia device permanently by entering wrong lock codes. However, if you enter the wrong lock code for 5 consecutive times, the device is locked for 5 minutes during which time it doesn't accept any codes, not even the correct one.
Note that some applications may add security measures of their own if an incorrect lock code is given too many times. For example with Mail for Exchange the administrator can define that all the data in the device is deleted when a maximum number of lock code retries is reached. The device may show in this situation the following warning message:
Incorrect lock code. One attempt left before data is deleted.
If a wrong lock code is still given after the above warning, the device is reset and all the user data is wiped out.
Make sure you do it in the right place.
Note: If you remove an application, you can only reinstall it if you have the original application or a full backup of the removed application. If you remove an application, you may no longer be able to open documents created with that application. If another application depends on the application that you removed, the other application may stop working.
Note also that you may not be able to uninstall applications that came pre-installed in your phone.
Your device supports wireless local area network (WLAN). With WLAN, you can connect your device to the internet and compatible devices that have WLAN.
To use WLAN, it must be available in the location, and your device must be connected to the WLAN. Some WLANs are protected, and you need an access key from your service provider to connect to them.
Features that use WLAN, or that are allowed to run in the background while using other features, increase the demand on battery power and reduce the battery life.
Your device supports the following WLAN features:
To use WLAN, you must create an internet access point (IAP) for WLAN. Use the access point for applications that need to connect to the internet.
Important: Always enable one of the available encryption methods to increase the security of your wireless LAN connection. Using encryption reduces the risk of unauthorised access to your data.
A WLAN connection is established when you create an application connection using a WLAN internet access point. The active WLAN connection ends when you end the application.
You can use WLAN during a voice call or when packet data is active. You can only be connected to one WLAN access point device at a time but several applications can use the same internet access point.
When the device is in the offline profile, you can still use WLAN (if available) but there may be some limitations with connectivity. It is therefore recommended that online profile is used (requires SIM card in the device) Remember to comply with any applicable safety requirements when establishing and using a WLAN connection.
Tip: To check the unique media access control (MAC) address that identifies your device, enter *#62209526# on the home screen (standby mode).
Start-up tone (welcome tone played when starting up the device) is on by default, to turn it off, open Profiles, select a profile and Options > Personalise > Warning tones > Off.

The default code is 12345.
To change the code, select Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Security > Phone and SIM card > Lock code. (Or in some devices, Menu > Settings > Phone > Phone mgmt. > Security settings > Phone and SIM card > Lock code.)
