The easiest way to control the music on your phone is to use the dedicated multimedia keys on the two-way slider. To adjust the sound, use the keys on the side of the phone to control the volume.
Widgets are small, downloadable Web applications that deliver multimedia content, news feeds and other information (such as weather reports) to your device. Installed widgets appear as separate applications in the Applications folder.
You can download widgets by using the Download! application or from the Web. The default access point for widgets is the same as in the Web browser. When active in the background, some widgets may update information automatically for your device.
Using widgets may involve the transmission of large amounts of data through your service provider's network. Contact your service provider for information about data transmission charges.
You can download, purchase and play games through the N-Gage application on your device. To start, you need the following:
To download the full N-Gage application, press the multimedia key, and select Games > Install N-Gage. The Home module is the default view when you start the N-Gage application. If one or more games are already installed, the Start Game option appears in the Home module. To start playing the game you last played, select Start Game or Options > Start Game.
To play a song stored on your device through a compatible FM receiver, do the following: Press the Menu key, and select Music > Music player. Select a song or a playlist to be played and, in the 'Now playing' view, select Options > FM transmitter. To activate the FM transmitter, set FM transmitter > On, and enter a frequency that is free of other transmissions. Tune the receiving device to the same frequency, and select Options > Exit.
With the multimedia menu, you can access your most frequently used multimedia content. The selected content is shown in the appropriate application. To open or close the multimedia menu, press the Multimedia key.
