Nokia Maps

Use walking navigation

When you select Start walking or Walk to, the map shows you where to go next. Your device guides you with a tone or vibration approximately 20 metres (22 yards) before you need to turn or make another manoeuvre. The guiding alert depends on the settings for the device’s currently active profile (for example, General or Silent).

Voice guidance is not available for walking navigation.

The maximum travelling speed is 30 km/h (18 mph). If your speed goes above this, navigation stops and begins again when your speed is below 30 km/h.

If your destination or a route point is not reachable by road, the route is shown as a straight line indicating the walking direction.

To see an overview of the route, select Options > Route overview.

To stop navigation, select Stop.
