Update Maps software

You can make sure you always have the latest version of Maps by installing Maps Updater on your computer. Maps Updater is free, and you can download it from the Nokia website.

To use Maps Updater, you must have the latest version of Nokia PC Suite installed on your computer.

Maps Updater also updates the maps and other services in your device if needed.

When you upgrade an older version of Maps to Maps 3.0, your licences for services are automatically converted to new ones. The coverage of Walk and Drive licences may change, but the converted licence always covers at least the area of your old licence. The licence periods remain unchanged.

Update Maps to the latest version
Connect your device to the computer, open Maps Updater, and do the following:

  1. Select your language from the list.
  2. If more than one device is connected to the computer, select your device from the list.
  3. When Maps Updater has found updates, download them to your device.
  4. Accept the download on your device when prompted on the device display.
