Nokia Maps

Quick start

Start Maps.

Find your position

Select Options > My position.

If you have an active GPS connection, a red dot   POSITION-GPSwill show your current position on the map.

Note: If you see a faint red dot with a large circle around it, Maps is using your cellular network to estimate your position. This is not as accurate as GPS and so can’t be used for navigation.

When you use Maps for the first time, you may need to select an internet access point so that you can download new maps. You don’t need a data connection to use the maps that are included with your device, but Maps might ask for a data connection to use A-GPS positioning.

Find your destination

Find your destination by scrolling around the map or searching for an address. When you find the destination you want, select Add to route using the scroll key or the information area at the top of the screen.

Show your route on the map

Select Show route. Your route appears on the map.
