Other settings

Sync content settings allow you to select what to synchronise (e-mail, contacts, calendar, or tasks) and what to do in case of content conflicts during a synchronisation.

Synchronisation of Contacts, Calendar and To-do items is disabled by default. To enable it:

  1. From your device’s menu, select Email
  2. Select Settings > Personal Information Manager
  3. Select Applications
  4. Select each item (Calendar, Contacts, To-do's) that you want to synchronise and select Yes to turn on synchronisation for that item
  5. Selecting Initial sync – delete from phone will erase all items from the device and replace them with those on the Exchange server.

Sync schedule settings determine how often your device is synchronised with the Exchange server.

Calendar settings determine how you synchronise your calendar with the Exchange server.

Contacts settings determine how your contacts are synchronised

Tasks settings determine how your tasks are synchronised.

E-mail settings determine how your e-mail account behaves. If you have Mail for Exchange 3.0, folders you have created will synchronise along with the inbox. The      sent e-mail folder will also synchronise, but deleted items and the outbox will not.

Out of office settings allow you to enable or disable the Out of office function and set your Out of office message.
