Third-Party S60 Email


Your Nokia E63 may also include another type of email provided by your service provider. The exact steps to configure your third-party email will vary, but the installation wizard will be available under “Set up e-mail”.

To set up your third-party email:

Set up e-mail

Highlight and select “Set up e-mail” on your home screen using the NaviKey.

Start e-mail setup

Select “Start” to begin entering the information for your email account.

Allow connection

The setup wizard will need to access the network in order to complete your configuration. Depending on your operator contract, this may involve some data transfer charges. Select “Yes” to allow the wizard to access the network.

Connecting to server

The wizard will take a moment to establish a network connection.

Select Operator Email

Highlight and select your third-party email service using the NaviKey.

Follow setup instructions

Follow the setup instructions provided by the setup wizard.

You may previously have hidden the “Set up e-mail” option on the home screen, but there are other ways to access the setup wizard:

E-mail setup

You can find the email setup wizard through the Nokia E63 menu: Menu -> Tools -> Utilities -> E-mail setup

Messaging Mailbox

When you configure a new mailbox in the messaging menu, this also launches the email setup wizard: Menu -> Messaging -> Mailbox

E-mail setup

When you insert a new SIM card, the “E-mail setup” option is available on the settings screen.
