To adjust the earpiece volume during a phone call, use Navi key to scroll left or right.
To adjust the volume of the media applications, press and hold the function key, and scroll up or down the Navi key.
Select Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Security > Phone and SIM card > PIN code.
The new code must be 4 to 8 digits long. The PIN code protects your SIM card against unauthorised use and is provided with the SIM card. After three consecutive incorrect PIN code entries, the code is blocked, and you need to use the PUK code to unblock it before you can use the SIM card again.
Contact your service provider (operator) if you do not know the PUK code.
Applies for example the following Nokia devices: E51, E63, E66 and E71.
To reset some of the settings to their original values, select (depending on your device):
To do this, you need the lock code. The default lock code is 12345. After resetting, the device may take a longer time to power on. Documents and files are unaffected.
Note: If your Nokia device support encryption of the device memory or the memory card, make sure you decrypt them before you restore the factory setting or your data may be lost.
Conference call is a network service, make sure that the conference call is supported by your network operator or service provider before following the steps below.

For most common email services like GMAIL, the setup wizard can find the rest of your email settings for you, so there's nothing more to configure. If you're using a less common email service that isn't recognized by the setup wizard, you may need to enter some more information, and the setup wizard will continue to ask you for your server settings.

If you use either of these three options select Start to begin entering the information for your email account as mentioned in point 3 earlier in this FAQ and proceed with instructions from that on.

Example of copying contacts from a SIM card to a phone memory (Nokia N95):

Select Menu > Tools > Memory > Options > Format memory card > and Yes to confirm. When the memory card is formatted, enter a name for the memory card, and select OK.
Note! When a memory card is formatted, all data on the card is permanently lost. Most of the memory cards are supplied preformatted.
Start-up tone (welcome tone played when starting up the device) is on by default, to turn it off, open Profiles, select a profile and Options > Personalise > Warning tones > Off.
