The software of your Nokia Car Kit CK-200 can be very easily updated via standard USB-connector in the removable display. Remove the display and take it with you to update the newest software via Nokia Car Kit Software Updater installed on your laptop, or contacting your local installer or Nokia Care point.

Nokia Car Kit CK-200 has extensive language support. The display language can be chosen from 22 languages:

Instructions for update via Nokia Car Kit Software Updater

With the Nokia Car Kit Software Updater, you can update the Nokia Car Kit CK-200 with the latest available software version.

It is recommended to use a Windows PC and the Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-101 (USB cable with micro-USB connector). Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-101 is available through the Nokia Official Mobile Enhancements Partner, Nokia Online Store, Nokia Care point, installers and distributors.

PC system requirements

Memory needed: 35 MB available hard disk space
Operating system:
- Windows XP SP3 x32/x64 or Vista SP2 x32/x64 or Win7 x32/x64
Connection methods: Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-101 or a standard micro-USB connector for connecting the device to your computer

Instructions for updating the software:

Download the Nokia Car Kit Software Updater tool, and save it to your computer.
Install the Nokia Car Kit Software Updater, and accept the installation of drivers (if such warnings appear).

Note! If you have earlier installed an older version of the Nokia Car Kit Software Updater to your computer, it is recommended to uninstall it before installing the new version.
Launch the Nokia Car Kit Software Updater, click on the arrow to start the update, and follow the instructions.
If Internet connection is permanently available, select Download software and update device. Otherwise, you can first download the new software (Download software only), and then when the Internet connection is not available, update the device (Update device with local software).
Write down the current Car Kit settings since they will be reset to the default settings during the SW reflashing.
Connect the Nokia Car Kit CK-200 to your PC with the Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-101 or a standard USB cable that has a micro-USB connector.
The Nokia Car Kit Software Updater will check for new updates on the Nokia Firmware Server. This can take several minutes, which depends on the speed of your Internet connection.
Accept the license agreement. The tool starts to update the car kit software.
You can be prompted again to accept the installation and use of the driver.
Wait for the software to be updated.
Restore your settings. Enjoy your updated Car Kit!

Important: If you do not have a USB driver for the CK-200 installed (if you, for instance, declined the installation of the driver when it was prompted), install it by following the instructions at the bottom of this page.

Instructions for installing the USB driver:

Please note: It is recommended that you always use the same USB port for software updates. By doing this, you avoid having to install the driver again for each USB port.

Connect Nokia Car Kit CK-200 to your PC with Nokia Connectivity Cable CA-101 or a standard micro-USB connector.
The Found New Hardware Wizard will appear. Select No, not this time.
Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced).
Select Search for the best driver in these locations and enable Include this location in the search. Using the Browse button, select the path C:\Program Files\Nokia\Nokia Car Kit Software Updater\Drivers\CK-200.
Select Continue Anyway and wait for the driver to be installed.
Click Finish. Please note that you need to install the driver again during the firmware update process when prompted.
