Listen to the FM Radio

The FM radio depends on an antenna other than the wireless device antenna. You need to connect a compatible wired headset or enhancement to the device for the FM radio to function.

To listen to the FM radio, select Menu > Music > Radio.

When you open the application for the first time, you can choose to have the local stations tuned automatically. To set the desired frequency manually, select Options > Tune stations > Options > Manual tuning.

Listen to saved radio stations:
  1. Select in the radio view Options > Stations.
  2. Select a station from the list.
  3. Change the station using the Previous and Next buttons.
Radio options

Select in the radio view Options and from the following:

  • Stations – View saved radio stations.
  • Tune stations – Search for radio stations.
  • Save – Save the radio station.
  • Activate loudspeaker or Deactivate loudspeaker – Turn the loudspeaker on or off.
  • Alternative frequencies – Select whether you want the radio to automatically search for a better RDS frequency for the station if the frequency level becomes low.
  • Play in background – Return to the home screen with the radio playing in the background.
Remove or rename a radio station
  1. Select Options > Stations > Options > Delete or Rename.
  2. To delete the station, confirm it by selecting Yes. To rename, write the new name and select OK.
