Home screen shortcuts

The Home screen is your starting point where you can collect all your important contacts or application shortcuts. There are different places in the Home screen where you can access applications:

• Alarm clock – Tap the clock to view the time and set an alarm.
• Profile and Calendar – Tap the date to get the profile menu and open calendar.
• Time and Connectivity – Tap the empty space to the left of the battery indicator to see the digital clock, and to view or change connection select the connectivity icon.

Home screen themes

There are three different ways to show shortcuts on the Home screen. This can be managed with Home screen themes. To access the Home screen menu, select Menu > Settings and Personal > Home screen > Homescreen theme.

• Basic – There is no extra shortcuts visible on the Home screen.
• Shortcuts bar – Shortcuts for four applications, Search and to the next Calendar items.
• Contacts bar – You can select up to four contacts to be shown on the Contacts bar.
