You can control the touchscreen in your phone with your finger tip, stylus or plectrum. You can use different gestures, such as tapping, dragging and swiping to manage the content in your phone.
Remember that you should use only a stylus approved by Nokia for use with this device. Using any other stylus, or an actual pen or pencil, might scratch and damage the touchscreen.
Normally when you open an application and other elements on the touchscreen, you tap it with your finger or the stylus. There are some elements that need double-tap.
Elements which need double-tap:
Set the stylus or your finger on the screen, and slide it across the screen to drag. You can use this to move on a web page, for example by dragging up and down, or to arrange icons on your menu.
Drag the slider of the scroll bar, to scroll up or down in lists that have a scroll bar. In some list views, you can scroll by setting your finger or the stylus on a list item and dragging. For example, to scroll contacts, set your finger or the stylus on a contact, and drag up or down.
Slide your finger quickly on the screen right or left to swipe. You can use this when viewing an image, to view the next or previous image.
