You can play music in digital format with the music player in your device, and you can easily download music from the Nokia Music Store. Also learn an easy way to transfer music between your computer and mobile phone and how to control your music player with Say and Play.
On the side of your device you have 3 dedicated music keys. With these you can easily control your music player without opening the phone’s menus.

You can play music in digital format with the music player in your device. Your music player supports file formats such as MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA.
To stop playing, you can use the Play/pause key on the side of your phone or select Pause in your music player view.

You have two quick ways to access your Music menu.
You can modify the tone of the music playback by selecting Options > Equaliser.
If you want to modify the balance and stereo image, or enhance bass, select Options > Settings.
To view a visualisation during playback, select Options > Show visualisation.
You can start playing the music by saying the artist’s name, for example. Say and play also lets you control the volume setting with your voice.
Note that the voice commands are based on the metadata (artist’s name and song title) of the songs in your device. Say and Play supports two spoken languages: English and the language you have chosen as the device language. The written language of the song metadata must match either English or your chosen device language.
When you use Say and Play for the first time, and after you have downloaded new songs to your device, update the voice commands with Options > Refresh.
