Start browsing the web

  1. You can open the Web direct from your Home screen application shortcut bar.
  2. Enter the Web address manually just by starting to type the address, and select Go to web address.
  3. You can also enter the Web by choosing a bookmark - scroll to it, and select Open.

Tip!
For easier browsing, you can set the browser to full screen mode. Select Options > Settings > Page > Selection keys > Hidden.


Keep confidential information safe

If you have accessed confidential information requiring passwords, empty the cache after each use. The cache is a memory location that is used to store data temporarily, and where the information or services you have accessed are stored.

  1. Open the Web browser.
  2. Select Options > Clear privacy data > Cache.

Shortcut keys for web browsing

You can use keyboard shortcut keys when browsing.

Shortcuts for keypad:

  • * - Zoom in on the page.
  • # - Zoom out from the page.
  • 1 – Open your bookmarks.
  • 2 – Open the search dialogue.
  • 3 – Return to the previous page.
  • 9 – Open the dialogue for entering a new Web address.
  • 0 – Open the bookmarks folder.

Shortcuts for keyboard:
  1. + - Zoom in on the page.
  2. - - Zoom out from the page.
  3. h - Go to the home page.
  4. b - Open the bookmarks folder.
  5. F - Open the search dialogue.
  6. P - Return to the previous page.
  7. w - View the active pages.
  8. O - View the page overview.
  9. g - Open the dialogue

Tip!
When you start entering the address, the addresses of the pages you have previously visited that match your input are displayed. To open a page, scroll to its address and press the scroll key.
