You can transfer music files to your device from your computer using your phone as a mass storage device or using Media transfer USB connection mode. When transferring music using Nokia Music application Media transfer connection mode must be selected while connecting the device with computer as otherwise there can be problems with playing WMDRM protected music on your device.
Make the connection between computer and device with a compatible USB data cable. You also need to have a compatible memory card inserted in the device.

In the Nokia Music Store (network service) you can search, browse, and purchase music for downloading to your device. When transferring music from Computer to your device using Nokia Music application Media transfer connection mode must be selected while connecting the device with computer. To access the Nokia Music Store, you must have a valid internet access point in your device. To open Nokia Music Store, select Music > Music store.
