Why can’t I play some tracks stored on or transferred from my mobile device in Nokia Music?

Nokia Music supports WMA, MP3, AAC and WAV audio file formats.

Video files or tracks protected with any other DRM license than WMA DRM (such as iTunes) are not supported.

What do I do if I’ve deleted my Comes with Music tracks from my PC?

You will be able to re-download your Comes With Music tracks to your registered mobile device or PC for up to two years after your Comes With Music subscription has ended.

Re-download all tracks downloaded from Nokia Music Store to your registered PC for free by selecting My Account > My Music Vault when signed in.

You may need to switch the Nokia Music Store mode from Purchase Music to Comes With Music to see your tracks.

What do I do if my library is not automatically updated?

Tracks added to your My Music folder are automatically added to your Nokia Music PC library. To change the location of your My Music folder open Menu > Edit > Options or press F4 and go to the Collection tab where you can change the location. Note that this folder can't be on a network drive or removable drive (eg. memory stick).

To add additional monitored folders open Menu > Edit > Options or press F4 and go to the Collection tab where you can add additional folders. Note that this can be a folder on a network or a removable drive. To import tracks without monitoring the folder go to Menu > File > Import music or press F3.

What do I do if my music files are not associated with Nokia Music?

You can change the settings within Nokia Music Player to associate it with different audio files such as WMA, MP3 and AAC.

1. Go to Menu > Edit > Options or press F4.

2. On the General tab you will see Use Nokia Music as a default player for the following audio files.

3. Tick the boxes for the audio file formats you would like Nokia Music to be associated with.

The music you download from Nokia Music Store will come in WMA (Windows Media Audio) format.

What do I do if some albums are displayed separately?

This may be because the tracks in the album have different artists assigned to them.

You can change the track details by right-clicking and choosing Edit track details (to manually update the track details) or Get track details (to download track details online).

What do I do if Nokia Music is not displayed properly?

If parts of your screen appear to be blank or not displayed properly when Nokia Music is loaded, this may be caused by your graphics card driver not being up to date.

To resolve this problem you need to update your graphics card driver.

You can do this by either visiting your computer manufacturer's website, or by going into the Device Manager on your PC and force an upgrade from Windows Update. You will find your grahics card listed under Display Adapters. Right click on your graphics card and choose Update driver...
