PC Suite

Use PC Suite to synchronize phone information with a compatible PC, install software, configure phone settings, and make backups of phone files.

To ensure readability, install PC Suite in the same language as your PC's operating system. You can find language versions other than English in the menu below.

PC Suite 4.88 and 4.81

System requirements

To install and run PC Suite 4.88 or 4.81, you need at least 50 MB of free disk space on a compatible PC.

Connections

In addition, your PC must support at least one of your phone's connection types:

  PC Suite 4.88:

• Infrared (IrDA)
• Bluetooth (Requires a Bluetooth-enabled PC with an interoperable Bluetooth Software Suite and a Nokia Connectivity Card DTL-4)
• Serial cable DLR-3P connection

  PC Suite 4.81:

• Serial cable DLR-3P connection

  PC Suite 4.88:

• Windows 98
• Windows 98 Second Edition
• Windows Millennium Edition
• Windows 2000
• Windows XP

Note: This software is not compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 2.

  PC Suite 4.81:

• Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 5 or newer

Applications

PC Suite 4.81 contains the following applications. Please note that not all applications are compatible with all phone models; see Supported Phones below.

• Nokia Application Installer Install Java™-based games or utilities on your phone
• Nokia Connection Manager Select the connection type between your phone and PC
• Nokia Content Copier Back up phone files to your PC or transfer data to another Nokia phone
• Nokia PC WAP Manager Edit and send your WAP bookmarks or update the connection sets to your phone
• Nokia Phone Editor Send text messages and edit the phone book and message settings of your phone
• Nokia PC Sync Synchronize contacts, calendar and to-do's between your phone and PC
• Nokia PC Graphics Create caller groups and operator logos and send picture messages
• Nokia PC Composer Create new ringing tones for your phone
