With your Nokia 5500 Sport phone you can easily switch between different modes on the move. Just push the instant swap key to get to Music, Sports, or Phone mode.
To activate the Sports mode, press the instant swap key until the scroll key light is red.
You can operate the music player on your Nokia 5500 Sport phone simply by tapping the screen. Use tapping commands to control music easily during your training: tap right/left for the next/previous song, double tap the screen to pause/resume the song.
While you exercise, get voice feedback about your current speed, covered distance, and time - every 10 minutes. To enable timed voice feedback, go to the activity settings view, set Timed voice feedback to On, and set the time.
Access information about your cycling route with Nokia Wireless GPS: find out your current location, see a road map of the area*, and measure the length of your covered route. To activate this feature, open Sports mode, set Use Bluetooth GPS > Yes, and use a Bluetooth GPS enhancement for monitoring.

Improve your long-term training plan with the Nokia Fitness Coach, easy-to-use fitness monitor in your Nokia 5500 Sport. In the Training view, open Diary and select Options > Plan > Fitness Coach. Define the settings and select Create plan.
Perform your own Cooper or bike tests with the Nokia 5500 Sport phone. To start the fitness tests, in the Training view, select Tests > Cooper test or Biking test and follow the instructions.
To change the activity in the Monitoring view, just select Options > Activities and then the activity of your choice.
To personalize the monitoring view for your activity, go to Activities and scroll to the activity of your choice. Select Options > Edit > Data and layout. You can define what type of information is displayed in the monitoring view and the layout used.
With Nokia Sport Manager you can plan and analyze your training on both your phone and a compatible PC. Download Nokia Sport Manager Software from the Nokia website.
Update the training data on your phone and share it with a compatible PC. Go to the Nokia Sport Manager application and on the left side you can press "Synchronize" to update information between your phone and PC. Press "Get training data" after each training session and you'll then be able to view the information on your PC screen.
Create your own training playlist on either your phone or PC using Nokia Music Manager. To create a playlist on your phone from Music library, select Track lists > Options > New track list.
Decide how fast or slow the music is through each stage of your workout. Nokia Music Manager helps you create your own personal training mix to match your exercise mood. Nokia Music Manager is available from Nokia PC Suite.
To start monitoring your exercise immediately, go to the Training view, select Quick start.
To delete all data, including exercise results, exercise plans, and personal data, go to the Settings view and select Options > Delete all data.
