Messaging tips
Send a greeting with an audio message

It's easy to create and send a Nokia Xpress audio message.

  1. Select Menu > Messaging > Create message > Audio message. The voice recorder opens.
  2. Record your message.
  3. Enter one or more phone numbers in the To: field, or select Add to retrieve a number.
  4. To send the message, select Send.
Quick messaging with flash message

Flash messages are short text messages that are instantly displayed. To create a flash message, select Menu > Messaging > Create message > Flash message.

Frequently sent messages

To avoid rewriting messages that you send often, use texts from the Templates folder. Go to Menu > Messaging > Create message > Templates and select the template you want to use. You can also create your own templates: go to Create Message > Message, write the text you want and select Options > Save message > As template. Give the template a name and press OK. The text is saved as a template in the Templates folder.

Get settings

Some applications, such as mobile browsing or MMS, must be configured in order to function properly. If you do not have these settings yet, visit the Nokia Web site to have them sent to you free of charge, or contact your service provider.
