Maps

To change how Maps decides on the best route, select Options > Tools > Settings > Route and then select from the following:

• Transport mode — Choose Walk or Drive. If you select Walk, one-way streets are regarded as normal streets and walkways can be used.
• Route selection — Choose whether Maps should plan a shorter route, a faster route or a combination of the two. Faster route is only available if you have selected Drive as the transport mode.

You can also tell Maps to allow or avoid motorways, tunnels, ferries and other types of transport or road.
