Nokia is participating in several industry initiatives designed to drive technical specifications for improving security.

Perhaps most importantly, Nokia is a member of the Trusted Computing Group, which develops and promotes open specifications to protect and strengthen the computing platform against software-based attacks, and is creating technical specifications to improve mobile device security.

Nokia also cooperates with software vendors and other mobile manufacturers to help preempt any threats from mobile malware.
