2. How can I update my phone's built-in software (firmware)?

Firmware is your phone's built-in software. Occasionally Nokia releases firmware updates for certain phone models. If you are experiencing trouble with your phone, there are several ways you can update this software.

If you have a compatible phone, you can update your phone software yourself, either over the air direct to your phone or via your PC. To find out more and check if your phone is compatible, visit the Phone software update pages.
