Restore a backup file

Nokia Content Copier lets you to restore your data. Learn how to restore a backup file. Note that you must have a backup file of the data you want to restore.

Open the main window of Nokia PC Suite and select Backup application.
Select the Restore button to start.
The application shows you a list of the available backup files. Select the file you want to restore.

If the backup file you want to restore is stored in another location, select the Browse button to browse for it.
If you want to search for all the backup files stored on the PC, select Scan PC for backup files.

Select Next.
During the restore, a progress indicator helps you keep track of the process.
When the restoration is complete, the contents retrieved to the device are shown. A yellow triangle indicates that certain files were not restored (e.g. due to limited free memory in the device).
To view more information about the completed restore process, select View the report.
Note that, some device models need to be rebooted after the restore process is complete.
