Create sync settings

When you start synchronising for the first time, it is necessary to adjust synchronisation settings. Click the Settings button on the Info panel and in the Synchronisation tab and choose from the following: select the mobile device you will be creating the settings for, define the data and media you want to synchronise, etc.

Note: the settings have to be defined only once and they affect the selected device only.

Set up the sync to make sure that your important information is up to date on both your device and computer. When you click the Sync button for the first time, Nokia Ovi Suite helps you create settings for syncing and copying content.

Select the email and calendar application you want to sync with your device, and click Next to continue. Select the types of information you want to sync. Click Next to continue. You can select your user profile and desired calendar folders for syncing. Click Next to confirm.

Specify the time range for syncing your calendar and to-do items. Select your web browser for syncing bookmarks. Then, click Next to continue. Finally, click Finish to complete and save your sync settings.

You can keep track of the sync progress by moving your mouse on top of the Sync button. To view more detailed information on the latest sync, click Transfer log.

To change your sync settings later, click Tools > Settings > Synchronisation.
